Paul McKendrick

Director

Mr. McKendrick has over 10 years of corporate finance experience in the energy sector. Most recently, Mr. McKendrick was with TransAlta Corporation for three years where he held the positions of Manager of Investment Analysis and Asset Plan Developer - Gas, Wind & Biomass. While at TransAlta, Mr. McKendrick was responsible for the evaluation of several projects, including the acquisition of Canadian Hydro Developers, greenfield wind projects totaling over 300 MW and the Project Pioneer Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) pilot.

Prior to this, Mr. McKendrick was the Director of Finance with Trident Exploration, a start-up coal bed methane producer, where he was directly involved in raising over $1.3 billion of private capital. Prior to that, Mr. McKendrick spent three years as an Associate with TD Securities' investment banking group in Calgary. While at TD, he focused on energy infrastructure transactions including mergers and acquisitions and public and private financings.

Mr. McKendrick holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
